News Flash

MDT has just released a ESS chassis for the Aussie  LITHGOW LA102 RIFLE about time. So anyone with the LA102 have a look at this chassis real nice kit.

My next rife is going to be the LA102 in 308WIN for club long distance shooting.

Looking at purchasing the gun in December but I could not help myself and just ordered this chassis so I will have a chassis with no gun for a month or so.

You can check out the chassis here  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1g3fq7nc4S4

or the CAD style drawing of the LA102 below

I ordered the one with no front rail just like the pic.

Don't get me started on this again. I was back and forth from the T3x-CTR & the LA102.

From what I have read and all the reviews online the Tikka's are a very nice gun but that's what you would expect from Sako. Two of my mates have the LA102 and love them so that's mainly why I ended up going that way plus they are made in OZ.

I think you will not go wrong with either one. I'm not a real fan of the Tac-a1 chassis only for cosmetic reasons "personal taste". The thing about the T3's is they make much more aftermarket gear for them like chassis and so on.  I still have time to change my mind mmm?

I also have a CZ455 22LR love it.  It's my rabbit gun with a night scope on it.

I was talking with my neighbor on Tuesday night he was saying we are being overrun by foxes. So I put my trail cam out last night right next to my steps at the front door it was too cold to go out too far.

The first night I got one on camera so he might be right. I have always been planning on building a Fox gun but have just never got around to it. So now I am thinking the 308 can wait and I might do a 223 instead.

If only I could get two new guns passed the wife. Then I would also need a new safe it never ends.

I never knew that.  So I can go buy a 50cal rifle tomorrow but I cannot go buy an airsoft rifle. Tell me that makes any sense.

Too many rules in this country. Why could they not have a licensing setup just like real guns for people who wanted to play Airsoft.

Main reason there probably banned apart from no system to  "Monitor" them would be they look like real guns so police have a cry about it which is annoying the whole process with guns in australia is pretty stupid tbh

This is WAR caught this f#*ken Fox on my trail cam with our resident Whip bird in his mouth.

I moved to this property down the far south coast 3yrs ago from Sydney and we have had this pair of whip birds living on our property. The pair stays together all the time and hunts for food on the ground all day long and whistles the amazing whip song all the time.

In the video’s you see the fox picking the bird back up after stopping for a feed at my bait feeder just 15meters outside my spare bed room window.

I was hoping it was just a wattle bird but we have only seen one of the whip birds for days now and they are always together.

So stay tuned I will not sleep tonight until I have killed one of these bastards.

Forgot to post I got him that night only had to camp for 20 mins before he showed up. Got him from my spare bedroom window as I have taken the fly screen out.

Textbook shot right between the eye & ear. Only using my 22IR so he was only 20 meters away.

Still getting plenty of foxes on my trail cam just waiting on a Video out cable for my night scope so I can record my next kill's (sicko)

One shot and dropped him on the spot check the hole in the head in the pic below.
