I am writing this not to bash on all cops but to point out a few of them and the stupid shit they get away with. Recently one of our gang members had the highest bounty on the server is was around 5.3 million he was knocked down and brought to the PD for processing everything was fine until he was sent to jail for a whole 7 minutes although the minimum time for this amount of a bounty is 15 minutes although you have to take into account he had killed 67 people which was ordered by Farmer George. We took this to the command team and from what we know he was given a slap and the wrist and a verbal warning and we were told that this was a one time event that would never happen again. The next day this happened again he had a 5.5 million dollar bounty this time the pubslot processing him was told to send him to jail for 7 minutes this time it was ordered by Ash. We went to command team again and guess what nothing ****ing happened. Today while I was playing medic we were RDMed and a cop by the name of Fushionable came and took all of our gear while we were dead this made me very pissed off and I screamed at the cop for a bit then I was tased taken out of asafezone unrestrained, tased again and then killed. I took this to helpdesk and they got a laugh out of it and then put me in issues resolved. Next, I went to the command team about this cop killing me and there was no one there so I poked Augnov I got no reply poked him later again no reply, poked him later got no reply got pissed off and sent him a lovely message this cop I doubt will be punished for what he did. Again their are SOME good cops but some of the shit cops get away with is ****ing rediculous!

Totally agree, cops getting away with giving lower punishments is ***ing rediculous (<- Sarcasm in case you were wondering) What a load of What annoys me more is some players not using appropriate channels to report staff/cops etc. Also, I feel like my signature is being ripped off by someone.

@Jo_ I don't think you understand how many messages I get a day, when I am on cop I am watching cops, making sure CO's are doing the right thing. Going up to helpdesk to moderate the server. I don't have the time to immediately respond to your messages despite how important you think they are. If you have an issue with a cop put in a complaint form, I told you guys this last time. Why do you think you have the right to get all pissed off when I don't message back straight away. If you want your issue dealt with you wait and give me the evidence not the medic exam google form. Just remember that we all don't have enough time to make posts on the forums to have a cry when your message wasn't looked at. I will look at the evidence you gave me but if nothing happens it is not because the person reported is a high rank it is because they did nothing wrong. First Aids kits should be Y menu item this can help stop combat healing and make it so it can be canceled by pressing ESC mid heal if need to shoot i have seen this done before and it is a great feature for combat players and other players who fat finger space bar or middle mouse button mid dismount/remount.

The lengths that a salty civilian will go to just to get some revenge, complaining about a less of a punishment is a new one to me.

I don't understand why even if George received a "Slap on the wrist" for what he did it's such a problem? I mean yeah at his rank that shouldn't be happening but it's not like we're going to demote and/or strike George because he made a single mistake that prevented your friend Pardy from keeping his large bounty. I mean from what I recall EVERYTHING in the processing was done correctly; only problem was the jail time. Any other rank would have received the same punishment presuming they didn't have prior history.

(50 Words min): I believe I have earned a promotion to Sergeant due to me putting in time and effort attempting to improve the APD by introducing and teaching new members who have the potential to rise and demonstrate their ability as future members. I have completely dedicated myself to the APD in game completely by barely playing rebel or civilian at all, only with a few exceptions at times. I believe I can generally get along well with members within the APD and sometimes display leadership whether voluntarily taking CO when no one else wants to or cannot. With the promotion to Sergeant, working around the APD will be much easier in general (adding charges, dragging people around channels, etc.) Recently I've dedicated more time to being a CO and inducting new recruits to make it more evident that I 'deserve a promotion'. Who would recommend you for a promotion? People who react to this post with likes or hearts.

I was going to post this as a reply, but the thread was deleted Have a look through the following graphs, all of which were taken of the top AUSTRALIAN (This bit is important) servers. Sadly there does not seem to be many outside of Strayagaming and Darkside... https://imgur.com/a/rTk1stt What you will see is a decline for ALL of the Servers. Most of the 'Time Played' and 'Unique & First time players' show the almost exact same decline (with the exception of one). It is therefore very unlikely that the decrease is solely due to 'the wipe', 'the update' or anything else you can throw in there. There is a clear drop across australian servers which suggest that something outside of any of our servers is impacting these numbers. Such as, exams for example. So please, dont just scream 'X is ruining the playerbase with Y actions'. What do we do? Write a petition to the Australian Parliament that exams need to be abolished because it impacts player numbers.

First , my apologizes oh humble reader of the forums for not taking screen shots at the time. That said , allow me to continue good sirs. Yesterday I hoped onto the server to test some ideas that myself , Mccain and BmanZ07 had for streamlining lawyer / client / police interaction at the Police Station interview rooms. So here is a point form run down of the high lights. 1: Arrive Brisbane PD in a suit and talk with police about representing clients. 2: Granted permission to sit on bench opposite Interview rooms. 3: Police bring me clients that either ask for a lawyer because of side chat advertisements or clients who they have told " There is a lawyer here if you want one ". 4: Invited to assist in 4 separate interviews representing 5 separate people. 5: 1 Case involved multiple weapons 6.5+ caliber and a pawnee - No jail - minimal fines - Due to Great police role play and respectful players held under restraint. 6: 1 case involved a help desk issue vs police - that was resolved via ingame role play - with minimal compensation ($30,000 for 15 mins of time) - and no helpdesk intervention ? Again due to great police role play - and the client being respectful. 7: 2 more cases that were resolved on good terms with the clients paying fines - but not going to jail - and the police feeling they were both respected and appreciated by the clients and the lawyer. Look i know there are times when some police are simply hobo killers. And there are times when civilians are " Is that a guy in blue or white - shoot it .. shoot it ... a shot is a dec .. shoot it ". But there are easily just as many times when you can actually role play issues out with police because just like civilians .... they want to role play not just shot. So all said and done.... im going to end this post with a BiG thank you to the Police officers involved. You know who you are. A larger thank you to the police officer who asked one client if it was ok if he sat in the room while i talked " privately " so he could see how this whole " LAWYER " thing worked. As above to the client who after saying " Ah no.... go away " and the officer left the room... said " If hes going to respect me and my rights .. he can come back in ... im cool with it as long as he doesnt tell the other cops what is being said ". Honestly was such a great experience roleplaying with such a respectful and dedicated roleplayer. In all my time on Altis life I have never been so surprised by such great lawyer roleplay, I even said it to you after processing your clients and gave you and your assistant $50000 each to encourage more behaviour of the same sort. Due to my role within the APD I don't usually experience much roleplay so to have you walk into PD and present yourself the way you did was a really nice change. Keep up what you're doing man, it truly is being recognised
